Maryland Voting on Vetoed Bills, Question 2 (1988)

The Maryland Voting on Vetoed Bills Amendment, also known as Question 2, was on the November 8, 1988 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure authorized the general assembly to adopt a procedure permitting vetoed bills to be read and voted upon as a group, as well as a procedure permitting first reading and preliminary voting on bills as a single group provided that members of the general assembly receive notice and opportunity to remove bills from the lists.[1]
