A Marysville School District Property Tax Levy question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Union County, which is in Ohio, where it was defeated.
If approved, this question would have authorized the Maysville School District to impose a property tax levy of up to 4 mills ($4 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to provide for the current expenses of the District.[1]

Language on the ballot:
| “ | An additional tax for the benefit of the Marysville Exempted Village School District FOR THE PURPOSE OF CURRENT EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding four (4.00) mills for each one dollar ($1.00) of valuation, which amounts to forty cents ($0.40) for each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of valuation, for a period of five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[1][2] | ” |
