Mason Trenaman was a judge of Kentucky District Court 30. He has served on this court for the past 4 years. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney, Assistant Jefferson County Attorney and private practice lawyer.[1] He lost re-election in 2010 and his term ended in January of 2011.[2][3]

Trenaman was defeated by challenger Stephanie Pearce Burke on November 2, 2010.[2]

Regarding his candidacy, Judge Trenaman stated, "I have been recognized as the most qualified candidate by the Fraternal Orders of Police and the Louisville Bar Assoc Poll...I am the only candidate in this race with judicial experience and have 22 years of serving the Louisville community as a prosecutor, private attorney and judge.[4]
