I am of the people, for the people.

I will lead by example.

I hold hold myself and others accountable for their actions and inaction.
The job of a State Representative is diverse, but most importantly, it is to be your voice on Beacon Hill. Since 2013, Jeff has been part of a legislative team that has addressed the issues of education, economic development, the coronavirus pandemic, health care, substance use disorder, criminal justice, civil rights and social equity, gun safety, energy, and the environment.

I have led efforts to draft and pass the clean energy and offshore wind bill in 2022; draft and pass the Genocide Education Act; finalize the Roadmap Bill on climate change; draft and pass legislation relative to sexual violence on higher education campuses; draft and pass legislation increasing transparency and financial reporting requirements for higher education institutions; draft and pass legislation that increased transparency and civic engagement by creating a searchable online database of legal notices; pass legislation lowering thresholds on specialty license plates, making them available to smaller charities and causes; and pass legislation to create a Regional Dispatch Center for Franklin, Norfolk, Wrentham, and Plainville.

With 10 years of experience at the State House, 14 years of local government experience, and 36 years as an attorney, I know first-hand how state government can help and hurt our communities. I bring experience, creativity, and a bipartisan approach to the job, and will continue to work to make progress on the quality-of-life issues that impact all of us. As your Representative, I am accessible and get results for you. Your priorities—local aid, economic development, education, climate change, and public safety—will continue to be my focus.
I would work to reduce government spending, cut taxes, help small business owners, bring respect back to our law enforcement officers and other public safety workers.
I am passionate about local aid, economic development, education, climate change, and public safety. In these days of gridlock and polarization in Washington, D.C., we state legislators continue to work together to find solutions to the challenges we face as a state. It isn't a matter of Democrat or Republican, it's a matter of working on issues that will help the residents of our state and improve lives. Together, we have worked on legislation involving education, job creation, economic development, climate change, and protecting and helping those in need. In addition to my work on Beacon Hill, I have spent 36 years as a lawyer working hard to obtain justice for working men and women who were victims of individual and corporate negligence. Being in a courtroom as a lawyer for people has been very rewarding, and it fueled my desire to be a Representative for the people on Beacon Hill. Riding the Pan Mass Challenge for the past 20 years has taught me a lot about commitment. It has also demonstrated that when a group of people come together with a unified mission, they can indeed change the world and make it a better place. It’s those ideals that I bring to Beacon Hill and will continue this work in the years to come.
As this is a relationship business, it is critical to have relationships with other legislators.
Yes. The art of compromise is critical to getting things done. Many of us have different thoughts about what should be in a piece of legislation. But, there is no single correct way to get things done and sometimes we have to compromise for the greater good.
