A No Public Funding of Abortion Amendment did not make the November 8, 2016 ballot in Massachusetts as an initiated constitutional amendment.
The measure would have required a statement be added to the Massachusetts Constitution that states that no provision of the constitution be interpreted to mean that abortions should be publicly funded.[1]

Initiative proponents needed to collect 64,750 signatures, or 3 percent of number of votes in the last gubernatorial election, to qualify this initiative for the ballot.
