I remember the lines of cars at gas stations due to the oil embargo. I was about 9 years old.
Last book I read was "Massacre on the Merrimack," which was an amazing story about Hannah Duston's captivity and eventual escape from native tribes during the colonial period.
Sometimes. On issues specific to my district, such as local aid and MuniChoice, absolutely. On issues related to personal freedom, less so.
