Mateo Page is a judge for the Torrance County Magistrate Court in Torrance County, New Mexico. He was elected to the court on November 4, 2014, for a term commencing on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2018.[1]
Education
Page received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico and his J.D. degree from the University of Washington School of Law.[2]
Career
Before his election to the Torrance County Magistrate Court, Page served as a magistrate judge for the Torrance County DWI Drug Court. He had been appointed to the Torrance County DWI Drug Court by Governor Susana Martinez on October 28, 2013.[2] Prior to his judicial career, Page served as a prosecutor for the 7th Judicial District and was a member of the Moriarty-Edgewood School District Board of Education. He also previously served as a prosecutor for Albuquerque's Metropolitan Court.[2]
