Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

My name is Mathew Mackenzie, I'm 35 and I'm running to be the next governor of Washington state. By the state of Washington electing me as there Governor we will balance the entire budget, audit as well, people deserve to know exactly where there hard work money is going and how it's being used. Education is going to be for once in many years and many past governors fully funded, no more song and dance speeches, mental health is going to be funded and we are going to solve as a state to properly help guide these so called programs that the current washington state government leaders have told American voters.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

• Balance the state budget
• Fund education
• Minimum wage, and job growth

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Honestly there are alot of things I'm passionate about, but then again there's alot I'm disappointed about as well. Taxes this state alone is has the most taxes and what is it doing more importantly where is it going. That's why as governor of Washington I'm going really sit and review every single tax and elevate weather it's benefiting or not.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

I look up to people that have served and paid their dues, I know first hand how hard it is grow up with nothing my parents always made it possible to make it of something.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

A true leader, a person who listens someone is blunt and doesn't sugar coat things or beat around the bush.

What legacy would you like to leave?

I just want to be me, a governor who is truly for the people not just the same old song and dance that most of them, I'm a fighter and I'll fight for people and what I truly believe in.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

911 I was in high school, and that is when the world stop turning and as we know it has changed.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Way to many to list.

He or she is the leader something that washington state needs and hasn't had for awhile.
