Matt Arnold was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 39 of the North Carolina State Senate.

Biography

Arnold earned his B.A. in psychology from

Belmont Abbey College in 2000 and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003.  His professional experience includes working as a lawyer and the managing partner of Arnold & Smith, PLLC.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 28, 2014. Incumbent Bob Rucho defeated Matt Arnold in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[3][4]
