Matt Blake (Iowa)
Matt Blake (Democratic Party) is a member of the Iowa State Senate, representing District 22. He assumed office on January 2, 2025. His current term ends on January 2, 2029.
Blake (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Iowa State Senate to represent District 22. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
As of his 2024 campaign, Blake served as a Judge Advocate (JAG) in the Iowa Army National Guard. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of South Dakota and a law degree from Drake University Law School. His career experience includes working as an attorney at Dickinson Bradshaw. From 2019 to 2023, he was a member of the Urbandale City Council.[1]
