I am a Colorado native and Highlands Ranch resident of over 17 years, where my wife Meredith and I are raising our three children ages 15, 13 and 6. For the past 20 years I have worked in management in the financial services sector. In addition, I volunteer as a youth football and softball coach and help local seniors with home upkeep and repair. I have never held public office but as a concerned citizen, taxpayer, husband, and a dad, I could not sit on the sidelines while our state is headed in the wrong direction.
  • I will never vote to raise taxes or fees on hardworking Coloradans and their businesses. Unfortunately, property taxes have recently skyrocketed in Colorado, and particularly in Douglas County. I support across the board reductions on property tax assessment rates and caps on all future increases. Our state government needs to be a better steward of existing taxpayer dollars, and not attempt to grow on the backs of homeowners and businesses.
  • U.S. News & World Report recently ranked Colorado as the 3rd most dangerous state in the country, due in large part to the massive rise in property crimes. That is simply unacceptable. I am fully committed to ensuring that our law enforcement agencies have the tools, resources, training and personnel necessary to keep our neighborhoods and our schools safe.
  • As a free market capitalist, I believe economic growth is best achieved with the government out of the way. I believe we must remove the government-imposed barriers that inhibit the ability of businesses to grow, thrive and innovate. We need to create a stable economic environment with a state government that works with businesses, not against them. If we can lower the cost of living, reduce taxes, improve workforce development and enhance public safety, Colorado will become more attractive to businesses looking to relocate.
My father, a physician and family-man. He has dedicated his life to caring for his community and his family.
No. The status quo of career politicians and their special interest supporters has resulted in disastrous policies and political gridlock. I will be a citizen-legislator who will serve my community and then return to the private sector.
Former Governor Bill Owens, Parker Mayor Jeff Toborg, Douglas County Commissioner George Teal, Former HD43 Rep. Kurt Huffman, Former HD43 Rep. & Current Sen. Kevin Van Winkle, Former Castle Rock Police Commander John Anderson, Rocky Mountain Gun Owners.
