Four seats on the Rockwood School District school board were up for at-large general election on April 4, 2017. Three seats were up for three-year terms, and a fourth seat was up for a one-year term, due to the resignation of former board member Rob Castle. Lynne Midyett, a candidate for one of the three-year terms, was appointed by the board to take Castle's place. She was joined on the ballot by fellow board member Keith Kinder and challengers Randy Miller, Tamara Rhomberg, and Sudhirkumar Brahmbhatt. Only one candidate filed for the one-year term: board incumbent Matt Doell. Due to the lack of opposition, this seat did not appear on the ballot and Doell was automatically re-elected. Midyett, Kinder, and Miller won the election.[2][3]

Results

Doell was automatically re-elected.
