I’m running to stay on council because I want to help my community. I’ve only been on council since January, but I’ve learned a lot in the process and I’m ready to make a difference with a full term.

Currently work as a Product Line Manager for a global manufacturing company based in northeast Ohio.

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Akron

Associate Board Chair of a local nonprofit

Former Vice Chair of the Macedonia BZA

Endorsed by Mayor Nicholas Molnar
  • One major problem today is the lack of interest in listening. As a representative of the residents in my community, I promise to listen to concerns and be a voice for everyone.
  • Macedonia is known for being very responsive, being a good neighbor to other communities, and saving lives. I will make sure we support our police and fire departments.
  • Our community has so much great economic activity, and I want to encourage more of it for better prosperity for all of our residents by welcoming small businesses to our city.
Public safety, economic development, and supporting our seniors
This office is part of the legislative branch of local government, similar to how the federal government is structured.
I look up to my family members and also mentors at work because of their commitment to making others better.
I believe listening, integrity, and curiosity are critical characteristics of an elected official.
The core responsibility of a city council member is to legislate. The primary focus of the office is to create and change laws per the city charter. I also believe staying engaged with residents is a critical input to that responsibility.
I would like to leave the city in a better state than I found it. I think we live in a great community, and I want to see it thrive even more.
I’m not sure about the first, but the most memorable were the attacks on 9/11 when I was in 6th grade.
I worked at a movie theater for 6 years
I’m a big fan of Ready Player One. I love all the 80s pop culture references.
I’m a first generation college graduate who grew up in a single parent household. While not a significant struggle, it has made me work hard for what I have, and I’m lucky to be where I am today.
A member of this office can vote on resolutions to communicate a position on a state or federal topic.
I do believe that some level of prior civil engagement is invaluable to this office.
Good communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to ask good questions are all helpful for holders of this office.
It is the only role in the municipal government that can create or change laws at the local level.
Mayor Nicholas Molnar, fellow council members Jessica Brandt, Jeff Garvas, and Vini Ventura
