Matt Hamner is a judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals Southern District. He assumed office on April 1, 2024. His current term ends on December 31, 2026.
Governor Mike Parson (R) appointed Hamner to the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District in March 2024 to fill the vacancy created by Judge Ginger Gooch.[1]
Governor Eric Greitens (R) appointed Hamner to the 26th Judicial Circuit Court in October 2017 to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Stanley Moore.[2]
Biography
Hamner earned a B.A. in speech communication and a J.D. from the University of Missouri. His experience includes work as a law clerk for Missouri Supreme Court Justice William Ray Price Jr. and service as the president of the 26th Judicial Circuit Bar Association and a board member for the Camdenton Rotary Club and the Camdenton Education Foundation.[2]
