Matt Herridge
Matt Herridge is the West Virginia Secretary of Commerce. Herridge assumed office on January 16, 2025. Herridge's current term ends on January 15, 2029.
Gov. Patrick Morrisey (R) appointed Herridge secretary of commerce to replace Nicholas Preservati.
In January 2024, Herridge was elected chairman of the West Virginia Republican Party.[1] He served in that position until July 2025.[2]
Biography
Matt Herridge’s career experience includes working as a member of the clinical faculty at West Virginia University School of Medicine. He also has experience in Clinical Psychology at the Charleston Area Medical Center.[3]
