Campaign themes

2016

The following issues were listed on Kokkonen's campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Immigration: To begin, we must enforce our existing immigration laws. Employers need to use the E Verify program in hiring employees. As your representative, I will work to protect our borders and stop illegal entry.
  • Fiscal Responsibility: Having been a financial advisor for 40+ years, I am committed to personal and national fiscal responsibility, a balanced budget and reducing our $19 Trillion debt, which will stifle our economy and enslave our children.
  • Health Care: Obamacare needs to go. It was based on misrepresentations and lies.
  • National Security: I will fight to reverse the Iran Nuclear Treaty. I will also fight radical Islam which is destroying Western Civilization and murdering Christians and others.
  • Energy: We need Congress to promote energy independence as well as all forms of energy alternatives. Energy is nature’s gift to mankind.
