Reid stated, "My candidacy for the PSC is based on my years of relevant private sector experience. My goal is for Georgians to have safe, affordable, and reliable power to shelter our families and grow our businesses. That is why I am running in the Republican primary on July 31, 2012 to represent District 3.”[3]
