It's demoralizing to see what the cultural & political institutions of our once proud country have turned into. One of the reasons I separated from the Air Force was the creeping influence of progressive politics, and the realization that the military just wasn't the same serious fighting force that fought WW2. When the shutdowns, riots, and election fraud came in 2020, the hope I had for a more certain future of America vanished. It blew my mind that so many Americans went back to 'life as normal' - watching television series, attending sporting events, going on vacations, and in general partaking in the "bread and circuses" that 21st Century America has become. We still don't know the long term psycho-social impact the shutdowns had on our students. I'll admit that I am one of those disenfranchised voters who has decided to give it a shot anyway. Like many Americans, I believe our country is headed down a bad path, and the worst thing I can do is stand by and watch as our border is overrun, our finances squandered, our family structure disintegrated. While it's been a few years since I've worn the uniform, the mission hasn't gone away. I really believe that the citizens of NH represent the best of America, the kinds of people a servicemen would be honored to sacrifice for. I will continuously work to keep our NH Advantage and will always oppose a sales or income tax and will always work to keep NH tax free.
  • The commercial fishing industry is already the 7th most regulated industry in the united states, and the nearly 1 million acre Offshore Wind Lease in the Gulf of Maine threatens the livelihood of Seacoast Fishermen, the balance of the northern Atlantic fisheries, and will bring ruin to a 400 year skill set as well as our seacoast travel and tourism industry. Several species of fish and crustaceans will have their migratory routes and spawning grounds disrupted. Seabrook harbor used to have 90 fishing boats and due to regulations, is now down to less than 10. Chlorinating 8.1M gallons of seawater/day for windmills with 30-50% efficiency at the cost of $10M/mile of cabling is not green, is not America First, and is not New Hampshire First.
  • I will champion traditional conservative values. The stewardship of the 2nd Amendment, as well as the entire Bill of Rights – is not a negotiation. I oppose any attempt at gun control and Red Flag Laws. No tax increases and I will work to optimize existing government bodies and cut unnecessary government spending to mitigate the property tax burden. I will oppose any attempt at a sales or income tax. I support the right to work & lowering the Business Enterprise Tax. I oppose Central Bank Digital Currency. I support the concept of cryptocurrency and precious metals as money. I also support the 10th amendment and believe that Nullification and Interposition are the best tactics for states to combat overreach and incompetence from D.C.
  • The innocence of children must be protected at school. The nuclear family is the center of society and I believe that parents are the ultimate arbiters of the type of education their children should receive and that public education should concentrate on promoting the academic achievement and personal responsibility of students. I was once a public school substitute teacher and believe that adherence to a one-size-fits-all educational system hampers student performance. I support the expansion of Education Freedom Accounts & School Choice. Additionally, I support granting subpoena power to House Committees so the special investigation for the Sununu Youth Detention Center sex abuse victims can proceed with teeth.
My district needs to have a representative with a vested interest in energy & the environment, and I have a background in that. What makes our town different from other towns is that we are a seacoast town with an active harbor that also features a nuclear power plant, we are a technical town that needs technical leadership. I also am supportive of legislation that advances personal liberties as well as promoting federalism.
I derive great satisfaction knowing that I am serving others, and I feel a strong duty to commit to the position I hold. I love the servant leadership required by the New Hampshire House of Representatives. We have to live with our decisions, just like the rest of the state. A good leader must first care, and then follow through. I have an incredible work ethic, which I know will be required for managing the duties of state representative along with my private sector position. I desire to earn the respect and trust of the voters in my district.

Scorecards

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
