Matthew Skopek
Matthew Skopek was a Libertarian candidate for Illinois Treasurer in the 2014 elections.[1] Matthew Skopek lost the general election on November 4, 2014.
Skopek is the treasurer and IT Director of the Libertarian Party of Illinois.[2]

Skopek was the 2014 Libertarian nominee for election to the office of Illinois Treasurer. The seat was open in 2014 because of Republican incumbent Dan Rutherford's decision to run for governor instead of re-election. He faced Democrat Mike Frerichs and Republican Tom Cross in the general election on November 4, 2014.
