Matt Ubelhor
Matt Ubelhor is a former Republican member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 62 from 2010 to December 1, 2015. He resigned from the state House due to his inability to serve his constituents while working at his current job.[1]
Ubelhor served as assistant majority whip from 2014 to his resignation on December 1, 2015.
Biography
Ubelhor's professional experience includes working as a coal miner and operations manager for Peabody Energy.

Ubelhor won re-election in the 2012 election for Indiana House of Representatives District 62. Ubelhor ran unopposed in the May 8 Republican primary and defeated Jeff Sparks (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[5][6]
2010
Ubelhor defeated Democratic incumbent Sandra Blanton by a margin of 9,961 to 7,400.[7] The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
In the May 4th primary, Ubelhor ran unopposed and received 4,687 votes.[8]
