The willingness to listen to and act on the constituency interests is the most important component of leadership.
I enjoy seeking compromises and finding solutions to complicated problems. I also enjoy getting the most out of a team while working towards a defined goal.
My first job was cutting our next door neighbor's grass. I started when I was 11 for a cool $11/cut. It grew like a weed and he had me bag it, so it took at least an afternoon to accomplish. My hard work paid off, though, and after a couple of years I convinced him to pay me $12 for the task.

Term limits are appealing until I considered that citizens should be able to vote for who they want for an office. If the electorate is happy with a certain individual, and that individual wishes to run for election, then citizens should be able to reelect that official. I do wish that more elected officials would decide to not run for reelection; many politicians seem to hang around too long.
