Matt grew up in Downers Grove & Westmont. He started as an entrepreneur at a young age, first mowing lawns. When he turned 14, Matt got his first job at Aurelio’s Pizza in Downers Grove.

Matt was a committed varsity football player at Downers Grove North High School, where he earned the Scott Lizakowski Scholarship for outstanding Leadership.

After football, Dubiel competed and won the Mr. DGN competition for junior and senior boys at DGN. He was soon accepted to Illinois State University in Bloomington-Normal.

After freshmen orientation, he decided it was not the move for him. Matt, instead, decided on a career in radio broadcasting and immediately sought-out an internship with radio legend Steve Dahl.

Matt worked his way up through the radio ranks in Chicago as a producer, then on-air talent and eventually moved into operations management before becoming a Station Manager.

Still an entrepreneur at heart, Matt worked nights and weekends building a radio syndication business, radio advertising firm, and eventually he went on to buy his own radio station.

Matt went from intern to owner, and today he runs his family business (WCKG) out of Elmhurst.
  • AMERICA FIRST - Matt is Illinois’ America First Senate Candidate. America First means benefits of citizenship are reserved for citizens. We need better legal paths to citizenship, and we must protect our election integrity, border integrity and economic independence.
  • MEDICAL FREEDOM – No family member should be alone when they need an advocate most. We need to ensure hospitals and doctors cannot deny companionship/advocacy from family, nor deny medical care based on vaccination status. We need to focus on lowering prescription drug prices in the USA so Americans don’t have to “mule” their own meds in from other countries. Medical Freedom includes freedom for employees to work and earn a living without fear of draconian mandates from government and bosses, while giving companies the freedom not to be threatened with fines, insurance issues or other legal hassles. Your health is none of your employer’s business.
  • BETTER EDUCATION – School Choice. Education, not indoctrination. Let’s return to preparing students for LIFE whether that includes college or other opportunities, such as learning a trade, a career in agriculture, or as an entrepreneur.
Restore conservative representation for Illinois in Washington, on behalf of parents, kids and our fellow citizens. We will beat Tammy Duckworth in November by running a mainstream, conservative, campaign based on law & order, education, medical freedom, combatting inflation, and America-First policies.

“WE THE PARENTS”

1. SAFER COMMUNITIES – Our laws must be upheld, enforced and our police departments empowered to do their jobs, independent of politics and social justice.

2. BETTER EDUCATION – School Choice. Education, not indoctrination. Let’s return to preparing students for LIFE whether that includes college or other opportunities, such as learning a trade, a career in agriculture, or as an entrepreneur.

4. MAKE THINGS IN AMERICA AGAIN – We’ve had a shortage of nearly everything because America doesn’t make anything

Campaign website

Dubiel's campaign website stated the following:

SAFER COMMUNITIES – Our laws must be upheld and enforced, and our police departments empowered to do their jobs, independent of politics and social justice.

BETTER EDUCATION – School Choice. Education, not indoctrination. Let’s return to preparing students for LIFE whether that includes college or other opportunities, such as learning a trade, a career in agriculture, or as an entrepreneur.

MEDICAL FREEDOM – No family member should be alone when they need an advocate most. Your health is none of your employer’s business.

AMERICA FIRST – America First means benefits of citizenship are reserved for citizens. We need better legal paths to citizenship, and we must protect our election integrity, border integrity and economic independence.

MAKE THINGS IN AMERICA AGAIN – We’ve had a shortage of nearly everything because America doesn’t make anything anymore…except excuses. Today, we’re #1 in excuses because we listen to the wrong voices. We need to inspire, encourage and INCENTIVIZE American businesses to make things in America. This is an economic issue and an issue of NATIONAL SECURITY.

PRO-LIFE – They shut down the economy to “keep each other safe” from a virus that has a 99.97% survival rate. They closed school, and then masked kids when school resumed. They canceled funerals and weddings. They closed churches. There were about 36,000 total COVID deaths in Illinois during the pandemic, total. Meanwhile, each year during COVID, Illinois had 45,000+ abortions. Why aren’t we trying to keep everyone safe? Why are you calling it a “right” to get an abortion? I want to protect life. Children need to be protected, no matter how old they are.
