Collapse all
|- Economic prosperity: The current economy is hurting everyone, but especially the lower and middle classes. To help kickstart our economy and ease this burden, I shall push for lower taxes as well as for the development and maintenance of our infrastructure.
- Education: Many philosophers throughout the ages have noted that democracies often fall because the People were not sufficiently educated. Therefore, it is key to the survival of our republic that the next generation is well-educated. As such, I shall push to improve access to good education for all.
- Law: As a lawyer, I spent years learning how to read and understand the laws. Even so, many laws are so complex that even lawyers have a hard time figuring them out. What hope do non-lawyers have to ever even begin to understand the basics of the law? Is it fair? Is it just? Is it democratic to subject the People to laws that they could never hope to understand? I promise that every law I help write shall be written in plain, common English so that non-lawyers will be able to at least understand the meaning of the law.
