Matthew Hibbs was a candidate for justice of the peace on the Ely Township Justice Court in Nevada.

Hibbs won 18.4% of the vote in the primary election on June 12.[1] He was defeated by incumbent Stephen J. Bishop in the general election on November 6, earning 46.37% of the vote.[2]
