Matthew J. D'Emic

Matthew J. D'Emic is an acting justice of the Kings County Supreme Court, Criminal Term in the 2nd Judicial District of New York. He has also served as a judge of the New York Court of Claims since 1996.[1][2]
Education
D'Emic received his B.A. from Fordham University in 1974 and his J.D. from the Brooklyn School of Law in 1977.[1]
Career
D'Emic began his career in 1978 as an attorney for the law firm of Goldstone & Wolff. From 1986 to 1993, he practiced under the title: Law Offices of Matthew J. D'Emic. He then worked as a principal law clerk for Justice Ronald Aiello until his judicial appointment in 1996. That year, he was appointed to the New York Court of Claims. He was reappointed to this court in 2005.[1]
