As a West Virginia Native, I have shared in the struggles and triumphs of the people in the state. We have been waiting for our representatives to do what they've promised to do for years—make West Virginia a strong and beautiful home for all. They failed, and we can see this failure in the state's infrastructure, educational institutions, overall health, and negative population trends. We cannot wait for those in power to finally act on their promises, which is why I have decided to run for House of Delegates for the 79th district of West Virginia.
  • Others pledge to import jobs, corporations, and wealthy investors to try to grow WV's economy. I, however, pledge to grow jobs and businesses here in the state so that the wealth generated will remain in our communities while we become independent from those who may wish to exploit us.
  • "Montani Semper Liberi - Mountaineers are Always Free." I hold this motto to be true, which is why I will fight to secure and protect the rights and liberties of ALL while in office.
  • West Virginia is home to a beautiful and complex natural world, but no amount of wild and wonderful can protect our home without effective policy aimed at reducing the effects our own activity has on the environment. In office, I will support legislation that seeks to support the health of our people and our environment.
I am incredibly passionate about policy safeguarding the right of individuals to have a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life. I believe all policies should uplift the people and minimize and eliminate conditions that harm their quality of life.
The first historical event that happened in my lifetime that I remember was the election of Barack Obama to the Presidency. I was only six years old at the time, so I did not quite grasp the proper weight of what his victory meant to Americans around the nation. Today, I've come to understand the shockwave that followed and how it changed the United States forever.
