Matthew Morgan was a 2018 Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent Michigan District 1. Morgan lost the general election on November 6, 2018.

Morgan was disqualified from the primary by the Michigan secretary of state on May 30, 2018.[1] He ran as a write-in candidate in the primary instead and officially made the general election ballot with 29,293 write-in votes.[2]
