|I earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in Leadership. I continued being active in the community by mentoring children as a volunteer in the Youth Street Outreach Program.
I attended law school at American University and I am a licensed attorney. While studying law, I continued to seek opportunities to be involved in the community. I represented non-profits and low-income housing clients in the Community and Economic Development Law Clinic. I was also President of the Business Law Society.
Throughout my life, I have been involved in the MOT community. I am a member of the 8th Representative District and serve as a Committeeperson. I volunteered with the 10th Senate District Multicultural Coalition, and have participated in 5K's to support local charities.- Vulneralbe Populations: Fight to ensure our Senior Citizens and vulnerable populations are taken care of and stand up for the rights and needs of our disability community.
- Infrastructure: Work to improve infrastructure, community roads, and public transportation.
- Education: Fight for small class size, classroom resources, and teacher support for all children.
I am passionate about being a problem solver and a forward thinker, which we need now more than ever! It has been said that we are living in uncertain times. However, I am passionate about bringing more certainty to where the 8th district is heading during this pandemic and to the future of the district economically, fiscally, and socially.
My grandfather and I had an unshakable kinship that's not easy to come by. His hands-on approach and reliability made him the foundation of my family.
I'd also like to sit on the Education Committee and the Ethics Committee.
