Matt Susk is a 3rd generation San Franciscan with deep roots in the community he loves. Growing up in District 3, Susk developed a profound appreciation for San Francisco's unique culture and unique challenges. Before dedicating himself to public service, Susk spent a decade in the private sector. He has an MBA from Georgetown University, advised government pension plans, started a laundry business right here in San Francisco, and helped thousands of families achieve their dream of homeowners.
Public safety, thriving businesses, and government accountability.
I am endorsed by the San Francisco Police Officers Association and I am a proud graduate of the SFPD Community Police Academy. I invested time and effort cultivating firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by our law enforcement officers. I supported the recall of Chesa Boudin, I never supported defunding the police, and I voted against Prop B and for Props E&F in March 2024.
I led high-performance teams in the private sector, I understand the value of efficiency, accountability, and measurable results. I am committed to bringing these best practices to City Hall to enhance the effectiveness of our public services.
