What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
Secure funding to repair the city’s infrastructure and protect our cars and homes from flood waters. Introduce legislation to stop the rising costs of property taxes and rent in New Orleans. Provide viable pathways to success for our children via additional funding and prioritizing early childcare and education. Fight for living wages for working families in Louisiana. Introduce small business initiatives to grow the middle class
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I believe that every person is important with a unique purpose and value to our society. Everyone deserves a chance to succeed. We must start prioritizing our families and children; they enable our state to function and are the future of Louisiana. I am dedicated to fighting for living wages, equality for all, a public education system that puts the children first, helping small businesses thrive, New Orleans receiving its fair share of revenue from the state, providing additional resources for mental health and substance abuse disorders, and criminal justice reform.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
