A single dad of three teenage daughters and a small business owner in Virginia Beach. Living life as a hands-on problem solver, bringing that same hands-on approach that built his first car, a 1965 Mustang to local government understanding that local politics may not be as exciting as the classic he loved so much. He's a former board member of the Virginia Beach Democratic Party who maintains an independent mindset committed to issues that do not discriminate according to party or political preference. Whether engaging with the same city procedures and procrastination that have complicated family life, business operations, and homeownership, he understands that City Council must put in the same work that he does with his health care and business clients.
  • Helping build a city ready for the future my daughters and their friends deserve. Our schools need an advocate not an agitator that will fight for what schools need; not what politics says they can have.
  • Our business associations need dialogue with economic development and for our Commissioner of the Revenue and Treasurers office to streamline services.
  • The priority is to do the job so our children can grow up and have one here. I will also work with social services, behavioral health, and our psychiatric treatment centers. In the same manner that taxes do not discriminate and are required of every resident, we need to turn some of our attention to the coming mental health pandemic and prioritize some resources and support with the understanding that this is their city as well.
I want projects to start getting done. We have had many many projects delayed in our district. We need to get things moving in our part of the city. In addition, I want to make sure to bring the different city offices that deal with businesses together with the different business associations to start working for the business community and streamline city services.
