Maureen M. McGinnis is a judge for the 52nd District Court in Michigan.[1] She was elected to the court on November 4, 2014, for a six-year term commencing on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020. [2]

McGinnis ran for election to the 52nd District Court.
Primary: She was successful in the primary on August 5, 2014, receiving 48.5 percent of the vote. She competed against Mike Bosnic and AnnMarie DeVito.
General: She defeated Mike Bosnic in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 55.3 percent of the vote. [1][3] 

Education

McGinnis received a B.A. in political science from the University of Colorado in 2000 and a J.D. degree from the Michigan State University Detroit College of Law in 2003.[4]

Career

From 2003 until her election to the 52nd District Court, McGinnis practiced law at the Law Offices of Donald E. McGinnis, Jr.[4]
