Maurice Chacon was a candidate for the Trustee Area 2 seat on the Hemet Unified School District Board of Education in California. Chacon ran against one fellow candidate in the general election on November 4, 2014.[1] Maurice Chacon lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

Four seats on the Hemet Unified School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbent Victor J. Scavarda ran unopposed and won re-election to Trustee Area 1. Incumbents Horacio Moreno Valenzuela and Joe M. Wojcik also ran unopposed and won re-election to the two Trustee Area 3 seats. No incumbent filed to run for the Trustee Area 2 seat, leaving the race to two candidates, Maurice Chacon and Megan A. Haley. Haley defeated Chacon to win the election.
