Maurice Jones is a former Virginia Secretary of Commerce and Trade. He was first appointed in January 2014 by Governor Terry McAuliffe.[1]

Jones served as the president of Pilot Media, a print and digital publisher based in Hampton Roads. He worked with Pilot Media from 2005 to 2014. Jones previously served as the deputy chief of staff and commissioner of the Virginia Department of Social Services.[1]
