I am a community member, a resident just like you. I am running because I believe we need to change the direction of our commonwealth. We need common sense solutions and work in a bi partisan way. We have more to unite us than divides us if we simply sit down and talk. Been in the private sector for 20 years and committed to living in Northern Virginia and Herndon for the long term.
  • We need to support parents involvement in parents educational process. We need legislative action to ensure those protections and take left and right ideology out of the classroom.
  • We need to address the high costs of living and provide incentives to reduce burdens on taxpayers
  • We need to support smart growth working with local communities and the legislature to support infrastructure
Adoption. I was adopted and I want to ensure Virginians who want to adopt have the ability to adopt. The cost are too expensive and we need to support more to make it easier for those vetted and good parents, anyone who wants to adopt.
I looked up to Colin Powel. A genuine war hero, humble, respectful, and humble.
Wisdom and humbleness. Bringing others up and not taking anyone down.
Id like to make a difference in my community, improve it for the best
I think the biggest event I remember was the impeachment of President Bill Clinton in 1998. I was 15 years old, it was something I followed closely and feel closely connected to the news.
Host at a Restaurant, Dick Clark's American Bandstand Grill. Throughout high school
The Bible. You can never get enough truth
I actually enjoy DJs and EDM so I always have allot in my head!
Standing up for whats right. I struggle to let things go if it's not right. Left or right, I will call it out if I see it.
We need to work together so we don't waste our time. We need to keep a working relationship because that's what we need to focus on addressing the issues that affect our commonwealth. By working against everything the governor wants will only prevent relief to our citizens
We need to reduce taxes, make Virginia more affordable and find solutions not excuses
No. I feel it undermines the goal of the state legislative process to be connected to the community and representative of the people.
Yes. We have to be open and transparent and seek input. We are not getting that, that's been a big concern from people I talk to on a daily basis. We have to work well with others, Democrats and Republican legislators as to what's best for our community. We are seeing this unfold now with certain politicians forcing a casino when no one wants one in the region. This is how out of touch they remain.
John McCain. He supported moderate positions, and didn't always please everyone party wise but supported what he thought was best.
The impacts of lack of communication and playing politics with peoples lives. We have to communicate and answer calls. I was speaking to a constituent about how he has been ignored by our current Delegate and its for an issue thats not a partisan issue and it's been ignored. My goal is to listen and force legislative actions on issues that directly impact the community. This is why I am running and what motivates me.
You will have to ask me in person! Ha
Yes. We can't let emergency powers supercede civil and constitutional rights.
Absolutely needed. We don't see enough of this in our legislation. Politics is undermining our potential to get things done. We have to seen bipartisan solutions and work together. We are not getting that by our current leaders. We need new leaders to seek solutions and not excuses.
Id work on improving the time spent to get background checks accomplished for cosmetology licenses. We also need to provide rebates to reduce financial burdens.
