The city of San Jose, California held elections for city council on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. Tam Nguyen and Maya Esparza advanced past Buu Thai and Van Le in the primary election for District 7. Nguyen defeated Esparaza in the general election.[1][2][3]
