Recall supporters
The recall effort was initiated in response to the proposed construction of an aluminum recycling plant. Recall organizers have expressed concerns about potential health and environmental impacts, as well as a lack of transparency. Organizer Kristin Bidegain has said, "This entire situation exists because our local government allowed this company to move in at a location that should never have been considered. They failed to research what this type of operation is doing and ignored the company's track record of non-compliance with pollution regulations."[3][4]
