An effort in Kyle, Texas, to recall Mayor Travis Mitchell and Councilman Rick Koch was initiated in September 2019. Petitioners began gathering signatures on September 3, 2019.[1] Petitioners failed to submit enough signatures to put the recall election on the ballot.[2]

Recall supporters

The recall effort was organized by resident Peter Parcher in response to Mitchell seeking a vote on a request for a proposal for a municipal complex in July. Parcher accused Mitchell and Koch of not representing the best interests of the city.[1]
