Recall reports

An effort to recall the mayor and three city councilors occurred in Parker, Florida. The recall did not go to a vote after the Florida First District Court of Appeal held that the "ground does not sufficiently set forth a violation of some duty to the electorate which could be sufficiently identified for the electorate to determine the truth or falsity of the charge; nor does the ground apprise the appellants of the charges they would be expected to meet were the recall election held" in Gilbert v. Morrow.[1]

Ballotpedia was unable to determine the names of the officials targeted in this recall effort. If you have information about this recall, please contact us.

Recall supporters

The grounds for the recall were "that all four said men have failed to obey or comply with the Charter of the City of Parker and the Law of the State of Florida."[1]
