An effort to recall City Councilors Luis Cabrera and Lizeth Servin did not go to a vote in San Luis, Arizona after recall organizers announced they would not continue their efforts.[1][2]
An effort to recall Mayor Nieves Riedel did not go to a vote after the recall petition was withdrawn.[3]
Recall supporters
Recall organizers have alleged that Riedel hasn't collaborated with community members and the city council, and that Cabrera and Servin have not performed their responsibilities.[1]
Recall opponents
Cabrera has said, "I'm still here to do the same thing I was doing since day one, which is working for San Luis for the citizens to make sure that everyone has a voice in the City Council, not just a few. We're gonna continue working as best as we can and continue doing what's best for the citizens of San Luis."[1]

No specific grounds are required for recall in Arizona. To begin the recall process, supporters must file an application for a recall petition that must be approved by the relevant election office. To get the recall on the ballot, supporters must collect signatures equal to 25% of the votes cast for all candidates at the last election for the relevant office in 120 days.[4]
