Recall opponents

Petitioners initiated the recall effort against Isgro after he tweeted an insult to one of the school shooting survivors in Parkland, Florida. His tweet read, "Eat it, Hogg."[1]

The petition against O'Donnell was started after the city council voted to appoint O'Donnell to the Ward 5 seat. Petitioners argued that there was little support for O'Donnell from Ward 5 residents, and that a candidate for the position, Julian Payne, had more support.[4]
