A McCabe Union Elementary School District bond proposition, Measure A ballot question was on the February 5, 2008 ballot for voters in the McCabe Union Elementary School District in Imperial County, California, where it was defeated.
If Measure A had been approved, it would have authorized the school district to borrow $7 million.
A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for approval.
Four months later, on the June 3, 2008 ballot, the school district again requested approval to borrow $7 million, with Measure B. However, Measure B also was defeated.
