McConnell begins term on Bethel Superior Court
September 18, 2012
Alaska: Dwayne W. McConnell was named to the Bethel Superior court this month after being appointed by Governor Sean Parnell this July.[1] Judge McConnell has experience working as an assistant attorney general, district attorney, and as an assistant district attorney. McConnell is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University and the University of Missouri-Kansas City.[2]
Of McConnell's July appointment Gov. Parnell said, "Dwayne’s experience, particularly in small communities across rural Alaska, has prepared him well for this assignment. Alaska’s court system, and the residents of the Yukon-Kuskokwim region, will be well-served by his legal skills."[2]
