Biography
McKayla Kathio was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Scranton Preparatory School. She earned a bachelor's and a graduated degree from the University of Scranton in 2022 and 2023, respectively.[1]

|I am a graduate of Scranton Preparatory School, completing my studies in 2019. Following this, I pursued higher education at the University of Scranton, where I achieved honors and earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, along with a Master of Business Administration with specializations in Accounting and Marketing. During my college years, I actively participated in political campaigns across Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties.
My upbringing instilled in me Northeastern Pennsylvania values of faith, family, community, and service. I am an active member at my church, Saint Joseph Marello Parish, where I am engaged in various roles, including working at the Pizza Fritta stand for each church picnic. Additionally, I go to The Oblates of Saint Joseph in Pittston, where I assist in mass services under Father Joseph Sibilano's guidance.
Outside of my community involvement, I dedicate time to volunteering for Hospice, reflecting my commitment to compassionate care and support for others. Drawing inspiration from my father, Dr. Inayat Kathio, I share a profound love for animals and advocate for their well-being.- I promise to promote job creation and economic growth in our community.
- I will protect us from violent crime and stand against illegal immigration.
- I promise to make families’ and seniors’ expenses more affordable.
