This measure sought to add to the current road levy by a rate of $.20 per $100 of assessed property value for a continuing period of time in order to further pay for road construction and repair costs in the township.[2]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
| An additional tax for the benefit of McKean Township, Licking County, OH, for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads and bridges at a rate not exceeding two (2) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twenty cents ($0.20) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3] |
