A McLean County Recorder Elimination Question was on the November 6, 2012 ballot in McLean County, where it was approved.
This measure sought to eliminate the County Recorder position and incorporate the tasks of the recorder into the County Clerk position. If approved, the position would be eliminated as of December 31, 2013 and the one elected to the post would just serve a one year term.
