Education
Harriss received his undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston in 2001. He went on to earn his J.D. in 2004 from Campbell University's School of Law.[3]
Career
Prior to his election to the bench, Harriss was an assistant public defender, a position he held since December 2008. Prior to that, he practiced law privately.[4]
