I am a third generation public servant, born and raised in the City of Indio. I have always been passionate about the importance of public service. As someone deeply committed to civic engagement, I believe that a transparent, efficient, and accountable City Clerk’s office is crucial for maintaining trust in our local government.

As a Clerk of the Board with a background in political science, I have seen firsthand how clear communication and open access to public information can empower citizens and strengthen our community. I am running for City Clerk because I want to improve accessibility and ensure that everyone in Indio has the opportunity to participate in our local government.

At the core of my campaign is the belief that government should be open and accessible to everyone. I am dedicated to continuing the modernization of the Clerk’s office, making it easier for residents to access the information they need and providing more opportunities for public involvement. Together, we can build a city that works for all of us, driven by transparency and active engagement.
  • Transparency and accountability. I will emphasize a commitment to making the city’s records and processes more transparent, accessible, and clear for all citizens.
  • Efficient and modernized services. I will focus on improving the efficiency of the City Clerk's office by continuing the modernization of systems, leveraging technology, and ensuring that services, such as record-keeping and public notifications, are handled promptly and effectively.
  • Community Engagement and Inclusivity. I will stay dedicated to involving the community in decision-making processes and ensuring that everyone, regardless of background, feels represented.
I am specifically passionate about flayering civic participation, especially with the youth. I want to encourage public involvement in local government by holding community forums, workshops, and outreach events where residents can voice their concerns and ideas.
Loyalty. I was born and raised in the City of Indio and returned to the city to live and work, and to begin building my own family. This city gave so much to me in my formative years and now it is my turn to give back to the city.
The most important responsibility of this office is to ensure transparency.
