  • We deserve representation from a normal, everyday citizen, who understands our daily struggles because she lives them. We need someone who cannot be bullied or bought by political games or corporations.

House District 42 needs a Representative who will show up for—and in—their community, keeps the public regularly updated, and hosts events for their constituents in order to foster open communication. Because the unadulterated voice of the people belongs at the Capitol.

Megan is a mom, a wife, a small business owner, a volunteer, an activist, and a community-first candidate.
  • The current political climate demands ACTION, not lip service. People are starving, being denied medical care, and living on the streets. We have seen racial, gendered, ageist, classist and ideological disparity on the rise across our access to basic resources and services. We sit in the front row watching our neighbors be denied care, harmed, or kidnapped in broad daylight because of the color of their skin. We have the resources to address these issues, and promote equity and independence by introducing policy that actually works for citizens: not just the wealthy and privileged.
  • Megan has lived in Colorado for 15 years, her husband originally from Aurora. She was born and raised in Hawai`i, and largely credits her culturally-rich but fiscally-modest upbringing for her deep respect of and compassion for all walks of life. Coming from an island, where natural resources are limited and revered, her appreciation for the planet evolved into a fierce commitment to protect it. She has seen firsthand how these initiatives work best when we all come together. Megan’s promise is to listen without bias or assumption, a willingness to continue learning, and to put people before profit—always.
