Meghan Raehll (pronounced “Rail”) is a proud Ohio native who chose Berlin Township for its rural charm and excellent schools. A former collegiate soccer player at Ohio Dominican University, she later earned her masters degrees from various institutions before earning her doctorate degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. For nearly four years, Meghan has served as a Berlin Township Trustee while also working as an Assistant Dean at a local university. In her free time, she enjoys coaching youth sports and playing pickleball.
  • Fiscal Focus. Meghan Raehll takes pride in being a fiscally responsible leader who carefully stewards taxpayer dollars. During her term, she has helped secure alternative revenue sources to reduce future reliance on property taxes and has ensured transparency and accountability in all financial decisions. Her focus remains on saving to protect the township’s financial future while maintaining quality services without increasing tax burdens.
  • Responsible Growth. As one of the fastest-growing townships in the fastest-growing county in Ohio, it is critical to plan for smart and responsible growth. Supporting commericial growth can help diversify the tax base and managing safety through having capacity in support services, roads, and infrastruture is critical. Meghan Raehll has championed zoning and development that aligns with infrastructure, that can support growth protected green spaces, and preserveed Berlin Township's character.
  • Connected Community. Meghan Raehll believes local government should be open, transparent, and resident-centered. She has strengthened community communication through public meetings, digital engagement, and by establishing Berlin Township’s first Parks and Trails Advisory Committee. The committee has successfully secured grant funding to improve walkability and connectivity. Meghan’s connected community focus reflects a collaborative leadership approach to foster resident engagement and access to information.
